Daily loss versus maximum loss

NOVE Funding · 07 Sep 2026

The two limits that end most evaluations, and how to trade inside them.

The daily loss limit measures from a baseline captured at the daily reset and includes floating losses. The maximum loss limit is measured from your starting size (static) or from your peak (trailing).

Practical rules: size positions so that a full stop-loss uses a fraction of today's room, avoid adding to losers, and check the reset countdown on your account page before holding into a new day.
