News trading and weekend holding

The dashboard economic calendar is the only official source. Restricted events are high-impact releases and speeches on the affected currency.

Evaluation stage: holding through news is allowed on programmes that allow news trading. Deliberately trading the spike is prohibited.

Funded stage: profit from a trade opened or closed inside the published window (minutes either side of the event, or from before a speech starts until after it ends) is deducted, unless the trade was opened at least the exempt number of hours before the event. Partial closes affect the whole order.

Weekends: your programme's rule snapshot states whether positions may be held over the weekend.
